You can't do this on your own - the first thing you will need to do is set up a team.
Decide how to engage the wider organisation(s) and even stakeholders in the process:
- The staff as a whole
- The senior management team
- Trustees/elected members/other departmental heads
- Volunteers
- Users
- Other stakeholders eg LEA etc.
Identify someone to lead the process and form a team
Agree the following
- Who will be on the team?
- What is the overall role of the team and individual responsibilities?
- How often, when and where will you meet?
- How will you keep all team members involved?
- How will you record actions and issues arising
Agree milestones with dates for making and monitoring progress.
