Think creatively about getting your message across.

With internal target groups consider:

  • Visits to or from institutions who have developed a successful and proactive policy to support learning
  • Presentations to staff meetings, boards of governance, senior management teams coinciding with promotional days
  • Involving staff from other departments within the organisation in making the case
  • Demonstrating how learning in your institution will deliver the core corporate priorities
  • Using a variety of media - including video and recorded interviews - in making your case
  • Demonstrating how learning meets community needs

'We now know that trustees are well-informed about the Museum's learning provision and its importance, and understand how they can contribute to
developing access and learning.'
